The
Vyksa Artist-in-Residence programme was established in 2017 by the OMK-Uchastie Foundation. It is a year-round platform for art professionals that provides residents with an opportunity to execute projects and conduct research in the Russian town of Vyksa.
The art residency is one of the few public venues in Vyksa that brings the art professional and the local community together under one roof. The art residency makes a significant contribution to the town's development by ensuring the dynamics and diversity of Vyksa's cultural landscape, helping to forge new connections between artists and urban communities.
The OMK Foundation may acquire or purchase selected works created in residency. Works will be considered for our collection on a case-by-case basis.
