The preliminary program of the international conference "Art and Practices of Hospitality" is now available at the official website. The part of the conference dedicated to the experience of artist-in-residence program will become the 2nd Forum of the Association of Artistic Residencies of Russia.

During the forum, residency organisers will have a networking session with AiR program pitching. Participants are invited to discuss practices of sustainable development, the role of artistic residences in the museum structure, infrastructure and positioning of residences, and many more related topics. Furthermore, one of the forum events is an open feedback session with artists as the main beneficiaries of the residency programs.

The conference "Art and Practices of Hospitality" focusing on the subject of hospitality across cultural and creative disciplines, including artist-in-residence programmes, is scheduled for 25–28 November 2021. It will host international speakers from 29 countries, including Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Colombia, Argentina, Morocco, South Africa, Japan, Korea, etc.

The conference will take place online and offline. You can still join it as a listener by filling out an application on the website.
