rhIZOme is a 190 sq.m. space for artists with high ceilings, natural light, separate studios and a common living room and kitchen. Includes 5 studios, 4 of which are designed for artists from Moscow and one with the possibility to live in residence.
Participants of the residency get: - Opportunity to work in the studio for 5 months; - Opportunity to cooperate and interact with the expert council of the residency; - Grant of 150 thousand rubles; - Residents will be advised by chief curator of the Foundation Polina Mogilina.
The aim of the residency is to create a place of concentration of creative energy, a bustling stream of meanings and interpretations, and a space of freedom for experimentation. The residency continues the MaxArt Foundation's program aimed at supporting and developing contemporary art in Russia.
