Since the spring of 2021, Dom Tvorchestva Peredelkino has been hosting a year-round programme of residency opportunities for writers, translators, and creative arts practitioners. Residents are provided with accommodation, meals, and workspace to focus on their projects.
Peredelkino is a Soviet-era writers' community that boasts some of the greatest names of Russian literature in the 20th century. Today, it remains home to prominent Russian writers, poets, and literary critics and a place where literature thrives.
Dom Tvorchestva Peredelkino restores its historical function as a place that supports literary and cultural studies, creates opportunities for writers and artists, promotes dialogue and creative synthesis, and serves as a creative laboratory.
In 2021, we received more than a thousand applications and hosted 175 creative practitioners from 36 cities of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Brazil, USA, and Latvia.
