The Foundation was created in 2008 with the aim of supporting and promoting young Russian artists. The Foundation works in several fields – as well as providing assistance to Russian artists, it runs publishing and educational programs, as well as holding artists' residencies.

The culture of participation in the creation of art and the popularization of young Russian art through local and international exhibitions are key aspects in our work. The Foundation has its own studio where artists can entirely immerse themselves in the artistic process and create unique works charged with timely reflection and unimpeded artistic self-expression. The Foundation`s studios are the few light rooms with a total area of 200 m2. It is located close to the city center. A saturated program of the exhibitions is realized in the studios. The Foundation invites
the artists to the residency where they realize the art projects and show it in the exhibition space. The Foundation also supports the production of artworks wich artists produce during
residency program.

We have set ourselves a global goal – to create a qualitatively new environment of likeminded thinkers who are passionate about contemporary art and who strive to realize their creative potential to the maximum. The Foundation has been contributing to the formation of a new generation of artists whose statements and actions are transforming contemporary Russian and international cultural practices.
